Custom Rules

To create a custom rule, click the Create Rule button on the Rules page. Fill in the form that opens and press Save to add the rule to the system.

You can make a copy of an existing rule to create your own rule based on that copy. To copy a rule, click the Create Rule Copy button in the rule card. A copied rule will contain information about: Vulnerability Description, Example, Recommendations, Links, and Classifications. The contents of Patterns and WAF Configuration Guide will not be transferred. The Create Rule and Create Rule Copy buttons are not displayed for users with account restrictions (to see your account restrictions, please visit the Restrictions tab of Profile).

To edit rule information or delete a rule, press Edit in the rule card. The system rules are not editable. To edit a system rule, you can make a copy of it and apply changes to the copy.
