Role management
User roles are managed on the Admin Panel > Users > Roles page.
The following roles are implemented in DerScanner: administrator, moderator, user. It is also possible to create custom roles for a more flexible privilege policy. Access to projects in the system must be granted separately on the user's page.
System administrator has the entirety of access privileges:
- the Admin Panel section of the UI
- all system's projects with all the privileges
- all types of analysis, supported in the license
- all private entities, created by other users
Account management is the system administrator's responsibility.
Moderator has the following privileges:
- work with rules and projects
- view the Admin Panel page
- all types of analysis covered by the license
- view, edit, save, and delete all private entities that other users have created
The moderator can view the Administration page, but cannot change system settings.
The user has a standard set of rights that allow analysis and verification of results. By default, users have access only to the projects they have created. To access other projects, you need to select the necessary projects on the user's page, or on the user group page if the user is part of the group.
If you change the role preset, the set of rights for users holding this role will be updated accordingly in the system.
